1. Why should I use the cobas h 232 system instead of calling on the services of central laboratories?

The cobas h 232 system provides the same results for decentralized testing as for central laboratory testing. It is easy to use and quantitative reliable results are available after only 8 or 12 minutes. The cobas h 232 saves your time when every minute counts!

2. How do my patients benefit from testing with the cobas h 232?

You can choose the best parameter combination for your patients. Testing troponin T, myoglobin allows rapid diagnosis and risk stratification in patients presenting with chest pain and suspicion of myocardial infarction. CK-MB allows identification of myocardial infarction and reinfarction assessment. If you suspect deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, testing D-dimer test used in conjunction with a pre-test probability score safely rule out suspected VTE patients, and can help you avoid performing unnecessary, more extensive diagnostic methods and treatments. NT-proBNP is an accurate and useful marker to diagnose and manage Heart Failure patients.

3. Does the cobas h 232 system require special training?

The cobas h 232 is very easy to handle. The handling is easy and menu-driven. There is no intensive training necessary to handle the instrument.
